This is customized, real-time support from someone who's been there.

  • You’ll receive and go through a detailed onboarding form for Sarah to learn about your short + long-term goals, pain points, and more. We’ll also do an initial 30-minute 1:1 Zoom call to ignite the collaboration after Sarah’s gone through your onboarding form to plan the first 3 months and ignite the partnership.

  • Twice a month, we will do a 1-hour Zoom call. This allows me to see the backend/ systems we'll work on, in addition to deep-dive conversations on your team’s performance metrics, finances, leadership, automation, etc. This takes us a step beyond communication solely through Voxer, and places us in real-time recurring meetings together. • Sarah will always respond to your Voxer messages within 2 business days, so you receive prompt 1:1 attention

  • We’ll dive into areas like: (1) Leadership/ team management (how you’re managing 1:1s with both your CEO + direct reports, performance tracking, communication styles, delegation, restructuring, hiring + firing), (2) System development/ optimization (what systems don’t currently exist that I can help guide you in creating, and which ones can I look at that do exist to optimized), (3) Strategic decision-making based on finances (COGs, tech stack dive, profit margin analysis, what questions to ask your CEO, etc.), (4) EOS implementation (Level 10 meetings, Rocks, Visionary/ Integrator relationship). All of these deep dives are 100% based on your goals, business, and priorities.

ABOUT YOUR MENTOR

With 8+ years as an integrator at three $1M+ startups, SARAH HAS:

• Rapidly scaled: Quadrupled our startup in its trailing 12 from year 2 to year 3. 6 months experienced 200% growth year over year, and the other 6 months had an average growth of 182%

• Built a remote + international team from 2 to 50+ full-time employees - in less than 2 years - and maintained a 90% retention rate with the international team

• Restructured a US department overseas, resulting in a 76% decrease in salary cost

Decreased monthly tool expenses by over 40% through AI integration, process optimization, and alternative solutions

• Increased department capacity by 18%, unlocking an additional $6,995 in MRR

Then, after acquisition of an agency where she wore the COO role, Sarah became the CEO leading 50+ team members.

• She expertly prepared a 3.5-year company for acquisition + managed due diligence

• Then she elevated from COO role to CEO to gain a deep understanding of a Visionary's needs from their Integrator

• This gave her immense experience (and perspective) as to how important that #2 role is and what's required to not only be, but build, a high-performing Integrator

What Others Say

A moment of gratitude

Shaina Weisinger - Founder + CEO

“We went from Sarah and I in startup mode, to 7+ figures and 60+ employees. There’s no way that I could have done any of this without her. I’ve seen Sarah coach people and she has a crazy ability to super-humanly see how processes need to work through any system. Have your 2nd-In-Command learn from Sarah so that they can give you even a fraction of what she has given me in the last three-and-a-half years.”

Kailey Green - Chief Operating Officer

“2nd-In-Command Academy is a dream resource for us 2nd-In-Commands who are, by default of the role, a bit 'on our own' between the CEO and our team. It’s hands-down the best thing I’ve found to become a better Integrator of my CEO’s incredible vision, and to implement more smoothly and effectively with my team. 2ICA is chock full of invaluable materials for serving your CEO at the highest level, effectively leading your team, and so much more—from big picture to super granular. Sarah herself is a living masterclass of what it means to be an effective 2nd-in-Command. When I have a call with her, it’s always easily the most valuable hour of my work week. As Operations Director in a very quickly evolving company, 2ICA has been my best investment yet.”

Sarah Spencer - Dir. of Operations

“As a 2nd in command, it can feel like no one really gets what you do. Depending on the day, you might motivate employees, jump on a sales call, organize a new metrics dashboard, or learn a new skill to fill the gaps in your team – or all of the above. Sarah Guidas has been there and shares a wealth of knowledge and insight from her years of experience as a 2nd-in-command. Whether you’re new to the role or have hit a plateau, I highly recommend joining her academy!”

Jill Weberding - Marketing Strategist & Copywriter

I was so impressed with one of Sarah’s processes I saw highlighted by another entrepreneur, I tracked her down and found 2nd-in-Command Academy. I work with a lot of entrepreneurs and small businesses. Often, they need additional support with putting systems, processes, and metrics in place. Her Academy is the PERFECT place to get expert-level support by Sarah who has an incredible track record for driving success for companies and is the epitome of a high-performing integrator. She can put a process, system, or metric on anything—and will help you do it. Whether you're the one creating systems in your business or your 2nd-in-Command needs support–getting access to Sarah’s brilliance is a HUGE VALUE. She answers questions and shares her knowledge and resources generously!

Abby Peters - Dir. of Operations

“we used Sarah to help further develop my skills as a second-in-command over an entire company, as I have never done this before. We are a small business with a smaller team, so utilizing outside resources, like Sarah, was a great start to getting comfortable in my role. Sarah was a fountain of resources and knowledge, but she was also very flexible and helpful when it came to balancing life and work and all the chaos that comes with it. She enjoys helping others flourish (which is a passion I carry in my work too) and is a wonderful resource for anyone or any business looking to utilize her to help fine-tune those second-in-command skills.”

this space exists for 3 reasons

  • Sarah understood the pain point of not knowing which experts to learn from when you're 2nd-In-Command. There are tons of resources for entrepreneurs, marketers, sales professionals, etc. - but not enough for the integrators of a small business alongside their Visionary.

  • Integrators wear a dynamic, high-pressure hat. 2nd-In-Command ensures it not only fits as best as possible but that they're thriving (not surviving) while wearing it and owning their role. There are so few positions that understand the level of ownership that goes into being a CEO's right hand.

  • Most resources for 2nd-In-Commands are not super accessible, especially for small businesses. They usually require certain revenue, company size, tenure, or funding raised. We don’t play that game here.
